Price and Payment

The prices on the website include VAT, but exclude shipping costs, which will be added to the total due amount.

Any modification of VAT by the responsible authorities will be automatically applied to the retail prices.

Prices may change at any time, but (except as set out above) any changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you an Order Confirmation.

Once you have selected all the items you want to buy, they will have been added to your cart and the next step will be to process the order and to make the payment. To do this, you must follow the steps of the purchase process, filling in or checking the information requested at each step. Likewise, during the purchase process, before making the payment, you can modify the information of your order.

In addition, if you are a registered user, you have a detail of all the orders made in the My Account section.

PETS&CORK undertakes and provides that, at no time will any charge be made for the use of the different means of payment. PETS&CORK reserves the right to individually restrict the use of the payment methods indicated above to one or more options. We inform you that, under the conditions that you have stipulated with the credit entities, other institutions, or if you pay with PayPal, additional expenses may arise. And we recommend that you contact your financial institution for more information.

By clicking “Confirm Order” you are confirming that the credit card is yours.

To minimize the risk of unauthorized access, your credit card details will be encrypted.

Credit cards will be subject to checks and authorizations by the issuer of the same, but if the entity does not authorize the payment, we will not be responsible for any delay or non-delivery and we will not be able to formalize any contract with you.

Shop as a Guest

This website also allows purchase through the guest checkout functionality.

In this purchase option, you will only be asked for the essential data to be able to process your order.

Once the purchase process is finished, you will be offered the possibility to register as a user or continue as an unregistered user.

Transfer of risk and ownership

The risks of the products will be at your expense from the moment of delivery.

You will acquire ownership of the products when we receive full payment of all amounts due in relation to them, including delivery charges, or at the time of delivery, if it takes place at a later time.

Taxes and customs expenses

Purchases that are going to be delivered within the territory of any European Union member states will be subject to VAT. Purchases that must be delivered in the territories of non-member States of the European Union will be exempt from VAT.

Any import, customs or other tax that must be paid in the country of destination of the order is the sole responsibility of the buyer. These expenses will not be reimbursed by PETS&CORK in the event that the customer decides to cancel or return any product for exchange or refund.

Billing

You expressly authorize us to issue the invoice in electronic format, although you may indicate at the end of the purchase process your wish to receive a paper invoice, in which case, we will issue and send the invoice in that format. You can request it by contacting our customer service, through any of the means made available to you and free of charge.

Delivery times

The delivery times indicated at the time of purchase are indicative and PETS&CORK reserves the right to delay them for reasons of its own or external to the company.

Offers and promotions

The offers and promotions will have the established prices, specified in Euros and include VAT. The purchase conditions are the same as with those products that are not on sale or promotion.

PETS&CORK reserves the right to establish specific dates for its offers and promotions, in addition to being able to add, remove and/or modify the conditions at any time, and without having to give prior notice or justification for it.

Shipping forms

Once the order has been formalized, the shipment will be managed by PETS&CORK through SEUR. We will inform you at the time when the process starts and SEUR will send a follow-up code so you can know the status of the shipping process at all times.

Claims, Returns, Refunds and Replacements Policy

Right of withdrawal

If you are contracting as a consumer and user, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within a period of 14 calendar days without the need for justification.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days from the day that you or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquired material possession of the goods or in the event that the goods that make up your order are delivered separately, to the 14 calendar days from the day that you or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquired the material possession of the last of those goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify PETS&CORK at the following address: Calle Andrés Torrejón, N8, 1C, 28014, Madrid or via email info@petsandcork.com, your decision to withdraw from the contract through a statement unequivocal (for example, a letter sent by post or email).

Consequences of withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal by you, we will refund all payments received from you for the products covered by the contract, including delivery costs to the initial shipping address (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive method of ordinary delivery that we offer) without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the this contract. We will proceed to make the reimbursement using the payment method that is most convenient for PETS&CORK. You will not incur any costs as a result of the reimbursement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods, or until you have provided proof of return of the goods, whichever condition is met first.

You must return or deliver the products to us through a messenger/courier organized by us, without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from the date on which you notify us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

The deadline will be considered met if you return the goods before the deadline has expired.

Unless you return the goods through a messenger/courier organized by us, you must bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You will only be responsible for the decrease in value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Contractual right of withdrawal

In addition to the right of withdrawal legally recognized for consumers and users and mentioned in the previous clause, PETS&CORK grants you a period of 30 days from the confirmation of shipment to return the products.

In the event that you return the products within the contractual term of the right of withdrawal, you will be reimbursed only the price paid for such products.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with the provisions of the previous clause, although if you inform us of your intention to withdraw from the contract after the legal withdrawal period has elapsed, you must in any case deliver the goods to us within a period of 30 days counted from Shipping Confirmation.

Common provisions

You will not have the right to withdraw from the contract whose purpose is the supply of any personalized items

Your right to withdraw from the contract will apply exclusively to those products that are returned in the same conditions in which you received them. No refund will be made if the product has been used beyond the mere opening of the same, of products that are not in the same conditions in which they were delivered or that have suffered any damage, so you must be careful with the product(s) while they are in your possession. Please return the item using or including all of its original packaging, instructions, and other accompanying documents.

You can make the returns through a messenger / courier that we will send to your address.

Returns via courier

You must contact us through our returns form so that we can arrange collection from your home address. You must deliver the merchandise in the same package that you received it, following the instructions that you will find in the “RETURNS” section on this website. If you have made a purchase as a guest, you can request returns through a messenger/courier organized by us.

This will not incur any additional cost to you.

In case you do not wish to return the products through this option, you will be responsible for the return costs. Please note that if you decide to return the items to us freight collect, we will be authorized to charge you for any costs we may incur.

Keep in mind that, once the order has been delivered, in the event of exercising the legal or contractual right of withdrawal, when you are the one who organizes the transport of the order, without therefore said service having been offered by us, we cannot assume the risk on the return package when it refers to causes not attributable to PETS&CORK.

After examining the product, we will inform you if you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid. The reimbursement of transport costs will only be made when the right of withdrawal is exercised within the legal period and all the items that make up the order in question are returned. The refund will be made as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days from the date on which you communicated your intention to withdraw.

However, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods, or until you have provided proof of return of the goods, depending on which condition is met first. The refund will always be made in the same means of payment that you used to pay for the purchase, except when a gift receipt is presented for the return. In the latter case, the refund will be made by means of a credit card or ticket. You will bear the cost and risk of returning the products to us, as stated above. If we receive an item after the stipulated period, in poor condition, with the wrong content (for example, items that are not PETS&CORK) or that, in short, does not meet the characteristics to be able to withdraw from the contract, you will not be entitled to a refund of the amount.

We will be authorized to pass on the corresponding costs if it is possible to manage the return of the package to your attention.

In any case, the rights and actions recognized by current legislation are protected.

 Returns of defective products

In cases where you consider that, at the time of delivery of the product, it does not conform to the provisions of the contract, you must contact us immediately through our contact channels, providing the product information as well as the damage which it suffers.

You can return the product by delivering it to a courier that we will send to your address when requesting the collection.

We will proceed to carefully examine the returned product and we will notify you by e-mail within a reasonable period of time if the refund or replacement of the product is appropriate (if applicable). The refund or replacement of the item will be made as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days from the date on which we send you an email confirming that the refund or replacement of the non-conforming item is appropriate.

The amounts paid for those products that are returned due to some defect or defect, when it really exists, will be fully reimbursed, including the delivery costs incurred to deliver the item and the costs that you would have incurred to return it to us, if any. The refund will be made in the same means of payment that was used to pay for the purchase.

In any case, the rights recognized by current legislation are protected.

Right of withdrawal and return of orders from abroad

If you have placed an order through this website from a Member State of the European Union other than Spain, the relevant previous clauses will apply with the restriction that the return through a messenger/courier organized by us can only be made from the original delivery address in Spain. Likewise, we inform you that under no circumstances will we be obliged to reimburse you for shipping costs other than those incurred to the original delivery address in Spain or return costs from a destination outside Spanish

Warranty

If you contract as a consumer and user, we offer you guarantees on the products that we market through this website, in the legally established terms for each type of product, responding, therefore, for the lack of conformity of the same that is manifested. within two years from the delivery of the product.

It is understood that the products are in accordance with the contract provided that (i) they conform to the description made by us and have the qualities that we have presented on this website, (ii) they are suitable for the uses to which the products are ordinarily intended, and (iii) present the usual quality and benefits of a product of the same type that are reasonably expected. In this sense, if any of the products is not in accordance with the contract, you must inform us following the procedure detailed above and through any of the means of communication provided for this purpose.

The products we sell, being handcrafted, may have the characteristics of the natural materials used in their manufacture. These characteristics, such as variations in the texture, knots and color, among others, will not be considered defects. On the contrary, it will count with your presence and appreciate it. We only select the highest quality products, but natural characteristics are unavoidable and must be accepted as part of the individual product appearance.

Liability and disclaimer

Unless expressly provided otherwise in these Conditions, our responsibility in relation to any product purchased on our website will be strictly limited to the purchase price of said product.

However, and unless otherwise provided by law, we will not accept any liability for the following losses, regardless of their origin:

(i) loss of income or sales:

(iii) loss of profits or loss of contracts;

(iv) loss of expected savings;

Furthermore, PETS&CORK is not responsible for the damages that may be caused due to the malfunction of the website.

PETS&CORK is not responsible for the content or the veracity of the information provided by its collaborators and/or users, nor for the use made by said collaborators and users of the website. The responsibility will be of the person who violates the current regulations and/or violates the rights of any natural or legal person.

The user will be liable for the damages that PETS&CORK may suffer as a result of the breach of any of the obligations determined in this legal notice or any current national or European regulations.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for any breach or delay in the fulfillment of any of the obligations assumed, when it is due to events that are beyond our reasonable control (“Cause of Force Majeure”).

Our right to change the terms and conditions

PETS&CORK reserves the right to make, at any time and without prior notice, modifications and updates to the information contained on the website, its configuration and presentation, privacy policies, and access conditions.

The modifications introduced will not be retroactive.
